LETTER FROM ONE EDITOR TO ANOTHER

Here is the worst - there is the best -
    It's somewhere - in-between -
Not good enough for publication -
    Not bad enough - for spleen.

Here is the crest - there is the trough -
    They cancel out - as waves -
To form a stanza that does not irk -
    But neither - can it please!
