Striving Race

Life bursting forth in endless ways,
Tide of infinite comes,
The vital march of striving race;
Vibrant pounding of drums.

Time ebbing and flowing in waves,
Expanding, retreating,
Each life dancing eager and brave;
Unending, repeating.

Back and forth the symphony plays,
Pushed on by love and hate,
Dramas urged on by nature’s craze;
Surging forward through fate.

The thirst for annihilation,
Creates counter death knell,
Brings movement, energy, elation;
Monstrous vital upswell.

This stark contrast empowers life,
Raising up those who felt it,
Burning aside struggle and strife;
A valiant mind exalted.
