New Occidental Poetry

Upon my travels

Of all the place I have been
And the many peoples I have seen

It was the trucker upon the plane
Who had most to say about the sacred and profane

For many a wiseman wears unconventional garb
As he too oft has experienced an ill barb

In the lands which I have walked
T'was the most begnin landscape that talked

And in that simple and quiet place
Did I discover His true face.
