New Occidental Poetry

Ymir

Oh my Lord
you make me full every-day
you dig into my heart deeper than the depths of the Earth
and you raise my soul higher than the highest heaven.
Emptying me and yet making me fuller.
You have made me wider than the ends of the world,
stretched my arms across the land and sea,
giving into mine fold the lands of the East and the West.
You have transmuted my flesh into the most fertile soil,
my blood has been unmade into streams of water.
You knead my clay into the firmament of a new universe,
with every step towards you I show the way.
My act is my testament, towards you,
the means and the end,
the terminus and intersection of every line,
the diamond jewel,
for which my blood and flesh pour out.
